To ensure public safety, Emily supports expanding the number of police officers, expanding community-based policing, and partnering with our schools to prevent youth violence.

Emily’s background in business and her years on the council give her an understanding of the city’s budget and what needs to be done to maintain the integrity of Union City’s finances, including maintaining a balanced budget and providing public services residents deserve.
Collaborative Solutions
for the Unhoused
To combat homelessness, Emily supported funding for a new homelessness coordinator and believes we need to establish a navigation center for the unhoused, connecting them to services.
Economic Development & Infrastructure
Emily has been a leader in expanding economic development, providing incentives to attract new businesses, and creating jobs. She also supports investments in Union City’s infrastructure to provide safe and convenient travel by car, transit, bicycle, and walking.
